E-bike Benidorm Highlights

Join a tour guide from Marco Polo and discover the real stories behind mystical legends about the Cross of Benidorm, the "bikini war", the Roldan gorge, Benidorm's shipwreck and much more. A very nice bike tour during which you will get to know the many highlights of Benidorm in a short time. After the bike tour you will also know why there are so many "Twin Towers" in Benidorm, or the Gemelos towers, which also includes Gemelos 22.

E-bike tour Villajoyosa

Marco Polo also offers E-bike tours to Villajoyosa together with a guide. You cycle through the historic center of Benidorm; discover the famous skyscraper "The Diamond", the luxurious Asia Gardens resort and the hinterland where people still grow their own vegetables and fruit. During the bike ride to Villajoyosa you can also enjoy a drink in a cozy, typical Spanish bar and of course the many colorful houses on the cozy boulevard of Villajoyosa. Do you not only like cycling, but also photography? Then this tour is extra fun because of the beautiful route!

E-bike tour Altea

Also recommended is the E-bike tour with Marco Polo to Altea, also called the white artist village by many. With an electric bike you go from Benidorm towards Albir and then to the picturesque Altea. There you can enjoy a well-deserved drink on a terrace. On the way back the cycle route goes along orange, lemon and almond orchards, after which you will undoubtedly return to Benidorm satisfied. A really nice trip!

Rent a bike yourself

Of course you can also rent a bike yourself. You can ask our reception for rental addresses. One of the options is via Monkey Rent (address: Calle de Valencia 14, Benidor). You can also rent a bike via Marco Polo and go out on your own. For example, cycle along the boulevard along the Playa Levante beach and the many cozy shops and terraces to the old center of Benidorm. Take a look at the Mediterranean balcony and go via the Poniente beach towards Cala de Finestrat. Bring your swimming gear and enjoy the sun, sea and beach there, before cycling back via the inland or the coast.

If you are heading towards Cala de Finestrat, you should definitely not miss the viewpoint at Tossal de la Cala! This viewpoint is named after the hill Tossal, which is located between Poniente beach and Cala de Finestrat. To get here, it is best to put your bike aside and walk up via Calle de la Ermita at the end of Poniente beach. There are several viewpoints on Tossal hill. You will also find Mirador de l'Ermita Verge del Mar and Mirador de la Música here; each with an equally beautiful view!

Admire the impressive skyline of Benidorm with the silhouette of the mountains in the background and the Mediterranean Sea on the other side. Truly breathtaking! Each of these viewpoints is very popular with photographers, so be sure to bring your camera!

Punta de la Escaleta

Another nice bike ride is towards Punta de la Escaleta and Mirador Serra Gelada, all the way on the other side of Benidorm. You will pass several beautiful, quiet bays, where you are literally away from the crowd. You will undoubtedly wonder why most people stay at Playa de Levante and Playa Poniente....

To La Marina by bike

And did you know that you can also go to La Marina by bike? To get there, follow the boulevard along Playa de Levante and Poniente beach. Just before Cala de Finestrat, go inland and cross the N332 and the motorway to Alicante to go to the La Marina shopping centre.

These are just a few of the many possibilities. Ask the reception for more information and tips or visit the Visit Benidorm office.
